"The Old School Hero" Aaron Idol

Why did you become a wrestler? I grew up in this biz but decided I wanted a college degree instead of being a wrestler. OF course this is in my blood so I decided to lace up the boots and go for it.

What is your favorite saying? I am an Idol, and you will worship me!!

What is your favorite song? Galaxy 500 by Rev, Horton Heat

What is your favorite weapon to use in a wrestling match? Weapons, in wrestling?? Come on there are no weapons in wrestling and using such is a blatant disregard for the rules of Pro Wrestling.

What is your favorite food? Anything othe rthan Chicken and Brown rice

Who is your favorite musical artist or band? Type O Negative

Besides yourself who is your favorite wrestler? Bobby Fuller Jr. and the creamiest tag teram of all time New Era

What are you’re outside the ring interests or hobbies? Playing music and medieval reeenactment

What is your high school and/or college athletic background? I was a band geek....that could kick your ass.

What promotions have you worked for? SEW, UPW, HPW, PWA, CCW, ECWA, AWF FL,

What titles have you held? None at the moment but I have my eyes set on the UPW United States title

What is your most memorable match ever? Working a match with this greeny named Sinn. I thought he would be the shits but man it was a great match. We had the crowd popping on everything and they were standing the whole damn way through. Made me proud because the main event was the same
old same old crap and those fans at least got their money's worth for 15 minutes.

Who was your toughest opponent in a single or tag team match? Bobby Fuller Jr. He's a second generation wrestler like myself so we grew up in this biz. Unlike me he lived and breathed this stuff and has an almost unfair advantage in the ring when it comes to ring psychology. If there is ever anyone I can say beat the crap out of me without shame, it is Bobby Fuller Jr.

What would you like people to know about you?

What would you be doing if you weren’t a wrestler? I teach highschool in the really real world so wrestling is my side job. I would like to get into acting but I think I am too lazy to even try

What would you like people to remember about you? I loved to entertain the fans and was never too busy to chat up with a fan after the show whether I was heel or face.

Thank You Aaron Idol it's been a pleasure.

Aaron Idol - "Thanks for this website and the exposure it gives indy wrestling. Without fans like you the biz would die."
