The "Modern Day Cowboy" Chris Anthony

 

Why did you become a wrestler? As a child I would sit and watch the old NWA , World Class, AWA, USWA, and back then WWF. I loved the whole larger than life personna that each wrestler portrayed. It was as if they could move mountains with just the sound of their voice. That's what got me hooked. As time went by and I watched wrestling more and more I started appreciating wrestling for the talent that each man possessed. I knew that one day I would be able to get into that ring and make a little of that magic myself.

 

What is your favorite saying? Have you ever had your ass kicked by a Cowboy?

 

What is your favorite song? "Wanted Dead Or Alive" by Bon Jovi

 

What is your favorite weapon to use in a wrestling match? A  steel chair

 

What is your favorite movie? A tie between "Blazing Saddles" and "Tombstone". Depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

 

What is your favorite food? Any kind of seafood

 

Who is your favorite musical artist or band? Toby Keith

 

Who is your favorite actor and/or actress? Jack Nicholson and Kate Winslett

 

Besides yourself who is your favorite wrestler? Hunter Hearst Helmsley

 

What are you’re outside the ring interests or hobbies? Riding my chopper, playing music, riding horses.

 

What is your high school and/or college athletic background? Played defensive and offensive end from grade 7-12.

 

What promotions have you worked for? AAWF, All American Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, CWA, All-Star Wrestling, KCW, AWA, ACW, WFW, PWA, and some that I don't even know the name of. So much traveling it's hard to keep track of the spot shows I've done.

 

What titles have you held? The All-American World Heavyweight Title (3 Times), The All-American World Tag Team Titles (2 times)(Once with Luscious Lacy, Once with Mr. U.S.A.), Mid -South Tag Titles (With Crazy Stan), The Mid-South U.S. Title, The A.W.A. Lightweight Title, The R.A.W. Cruiserweight Title, The C.W.A. Southern Title, The Independent U.S. Title, The KCW light-Heavyweight Champion

 

What is your most memorable match ever? It's a toss up. One was the first night I went to Madisonville, KY on an invasion tour from R.A.W.  I busted a guitar over the head of Rowdy Red and took the Southern Title. I thought the crowd was going to storm the ring after me. Second was when I had a Moondog Match with Moondog Rover. We went all over the arena and even had a concession stand batttle. Whew, what a mess we were.

 

Who was your toughest opponent in a single or tag team match? Moondog Rover

 

What would you like people to know about you? They can find about it all in the ring. I don't reveal my secrets.

 

What would you be doing if you weren’t a wrestler? Sittin on a beach sippin Margaritta's

 

What would you like people to remember about you? This is a hard one. I guess the way I never back down from anyone. If they issue a challenge I take it. Bottom line.
