"Mean Streak" Mike Dempsey
Why did you become a wrestler? Like most other wrestlers, it's what I've always wanted to do. When the ECCW House of Pain wrestling school in BC Canada had a new class open, I joined.
What is your favorite saying? If You Don't Like Mike Dempsey You Can Kiss My Ass.
What is your favorite song? Anything by Tool is good.
What is your favorite weapon to use in a wrestling match? My right foot.
What is your favorite movie? The Shawshank Redemption
What is your favorite food? Chinese Food
Who is your favorite musical artist or band? Nirvana or Queens of the Stone Age
Who is your favorite actor and/or actress? Steve Buschemi
Besides yourself who is your favorite wrestler? American Dragon Bryan Danielson. He's worked here in BC for ECCW and seeing him first hand is great.
What are you’re outside the ring interests or hobbies? Hockey, music, movies, girls
What is your high school and/or college athletic background? I played hockey for years.
What promotions have you worked for? ECCW, Portland Wrestling, PNPW, WCWC, Just Wrestling, TRW, Cyberfights
What titles have you held? None as of yet in my first year of wrestling, but I have my sights set on several in the near future.
What is your most memorable match ever? My match versus Aaron Idol in the first ever Vancouver Island Cup has been my best match to date. I've had the priviledge of fighting a lot of great opponents like Matt Sydal, Scotty Mac, Vance Nevada, Matt Stryker, Dropkick Murphy, but my match versus Idol is one of my more recent and stands out in my mind as my best performance so far. Idol is an amazing talent as anyone who's seen him will tell you.
Who was your toughest opponent in a single or tag team match? Matt Stryker two out of three falls.
What would you like people to know about you? That I love wrestling and will go as far in the business as I can.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a wrestler? If I weren't a wrestler I would be doing a day job somewhere. Wrestling is so huge in my life that I can't imagine not doing it.
What would you like people to remember about you? My best moments in wrestling have yet to come, so I'll have to get back to you on that one.
